Witney Model and Collectors Club has been around for over twenty years, catering for modellers, collectors, engineers and history lovers. Many of our members have model collections. Fairground, farming, lorries and racing cars are just a few examples. Others make scratchbuilt models using lathes, turning machines and files. These are accurate models of the real thing. Some love to bring the past to life, depicting life at home, in the factory and in times of war.
Witney Model and Collectors Club is grateful for the continuing support of Witney Town Council.
We meet monthly in the Winchester room at St. Mary's Church, Church Green,
Witney, OX28 4AW
Meetings begin at 7 p.m. and finish by 9 p.m with a break. We have a guest speaker each month aswell.
Talks range from canals to cameras, stamps to steam engines, planes to trains and everything in between. Around 25 members regularly attend the meetings and there is time to chat with like-minded collectors and modellers.
Our Mega Show takes place at St Mary's Church on Church Green in Witney in September each year. Well over 30 members exhibit their models, collections and enthusiasm. The Show is free to enter and visitors range from the very young to the very young at heart!
